Program Options

Combination Program Option

Children attend classes twice a week for a minimum of 64 classes. The Combination Teacher meets in the home with the child and parent every other week. Each home visit is 1½ hours. The Combination Option serves the Stockbridge, Oneida, Chittenango, Cazenovia, Georgetown, DeRuyter, Hamilton, Madison, Earlville and Brookfield school districts.

Center-Based Program Option

All center based classes meet for 4 hours per day/4 days per week. Teachers meet with the parents a minimum of 4 times a year (two home visits and 2 parent teacher conferences). Family Advocates have monthly contact with the families. The Center-Based Option serves the Canastota, Oneida, Chittenango and Morrisville school districts. 

Head Start/Child Care Partnership Option

Head Start contracts with local child care programs to provide Head Start education and nutrition services to 11 children that need a full day/full year program. Head Start will provide all other services (health, mental health, family and disability services) directly to the children and families enrolled in this option.
