Youth can enjoy animal-related projects that enhance knowledge and skills in animal science, as well as encourage personal development and increase life skills. The 4-H program has active programs for youth interested in dogs, rabbits & Cavies, dairy & beef, sheep, goats, swine, poultry, and horses.  There are many possibilities and opportunities for youth interested in Animal Science not just in exhibiting an animal but also in educational events such as Dairy Bowl, Horse Bowl, Hippology, Obedience classes and Judging. The 4-H animal science program has the opportunity to be expanded to other species as the interest arises.
